My father grew walnut trees in his front yard. His idea was each of his children could harvest their tree and sell it for college money. We never did that, but I think it was a charming idea. My mother was very unhappy about the walnut tress. She also could never get the "black" off the carpets.
Nuts and seeds, ahh... the joys of Autumn.
SherryQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02473455565144414399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4339581931353572515.post-91857045956158633032007-09-26T14:04:00.000-07:002007-09-26T14:04:00.000-07:00I loved the walnut photo. The first home we bought had walnut trees all over the property making walking about the yard tricky :} ... the squirrels of course loved them and I can remember rushing to pull in the laundry when the squirrels would be in the trees peeling away at them (walnut juice is almost impossible to get out) :-}Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13874781381364710459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4339581931353572515.post-1008498661780878852007-09-26T13:21:00.000-07:002007-09-26T13:21:00.000-07:00Dear Cathy,Thank you. the firebush is turning and ...Dear Cathy,
Thank you. the firebush is turning and is always so bright even in the rain.
The weather patterns have changed.
