I checked on the Mallards in Little Pond.The temperature was 45 degrees.

So pleased they have returned this autumn.
I sat on the bank and watched them for a few minutes.

Taking pictures of the birds in the woods is different than when I am in my backyard. I was very pleased the birds were not skittish on my walk.
