Black Swallowtail

A Black Swallowtail emerged this morning.
It was 12 degrees outside.
Too cold for Swallowtails.
She will live indoors with us and the plants.
I love having butterflies in the house.

This morning my husband fixed a fire in the fireplace.
I love watching the flames.
We walked in the late afternoon when the temperatures had warmed.
Today is the birthday of
A.A. Milne.
I am staying warm and active
and so very inspired.

Butterflies in the house. What a lovely idea, although I don't think it would work with our dog. :) I love A.A. Milne.

To coś niesamowitego, tak piękny motyl w domu :-), lepiej niech będzie cieplej, żeby mógł być na dworze, wśród zieleni. Pozdrawiam.*** This is something amazing, so beautiful butterfly in the house :-), better let it be warmer, so he could be outdoors, surrounded by greenery. Yours.

Lucky you to have a butterfly as a house guest. He's beautiful too! Your fire looks so inviting. I guess that cold front arrived.
Keep warm

Dear Sherry,

Swallowtail is just so perfect. I hope she does well.....and enjoys your flowers.

Pooh Bear is a particular favourite of mine....Poppi and Riley love him too!

Now you have me pondering, what would it be like to have butterflies in the house...
I think they would not have a very long life, with the dogs and cats...
But I can dream!!!

Beautiful butterfly is houseguest. It sound like fun.
I have observed a butterfly's hatch in my house long ago. After hatch, he was flying in our room for some time and left our house.
Your fire is rare for me. It's nice.
