Into the woods

The woods were quiet.

I thought of all the different
traditions,
the different ways,
of knowing Spirit.

Many are beginning a fast at sunset.
Many are celebrating Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement.

It is not my tradition.
It is not my way.
I know Spirit differently.

I honor different ways.
I respect them.

I learn from them.

Day of Atonement.
May I be forgiven.

Dearest Sherry,

Today, you walk with and carry much respect for others - by sharing their ways and traditions. I really appreciate that. It is a peaceful and loving way.

I will walk with respect by following the peaceful path along side you.

Thank you for sharing other traditions, it is wonderful to learn.

Lovingly, and with peace~

Dear Sprite,
I know you are near. I am grateful for your presence. Your light shines forward. Thank you.
We hold the thought that we are one. The ways of others are so interesting. I love the diversity. I also find that as I learn the traditions of others my own way is richer.
We walk in a beautiful, peaceful world.
It is good.
Nameste,
Sherry

Wonderful. Quiet thought. I could lay my head down on my desk and dream now.

Dear Sue,
Thank you. I lead a quiet life in the city. There is lots of activity always with cars and service people coming and going. Two blocks from my house is a small wooded area. I like it there. I like the way the city and the woods join together. I call it green space.

Dear Mary,
Feet up! Inhale... exhale.
Five minutes of dream time to "just be." Close your eyes.
Hummingbirds are chatting to you, they say, "Thank you for caring for us when it was so very hot and dry."
The rain is falling and the air is cool. Lovely flowers float by, you can smeel thier sweet fragrance. They thank you for remembering them all summer.
Your dear pups are laying quietly at your feet. They protect you. You are resting. You are refreshed.
