Like a rose

I am like a rose.
Unfolding in my own time.

Each rose in the bouquet is beautiful.
Each rose is different.

Like a rose I can be part of a group.
I can be one in a bouquet.
I can stand alone and shine my light.

I am like a rose.
I am blooming.

Beautiful.....I am going to so enjoy coming on this journey with you. I have lead an interesting life and have travelled many paths, spiritual enlightenment is one that I have kept 'for me'. This is the first time I have ever spoken about it.

Thank you.

Dear Cheryl,
Oh yes! We will enjoy this adventure. I am sure of it! Here you can speak of your journey. Here you are honored. Thank you for your trust.

"What do we do before enlightenment?
Chop wood and carry water.
What do we do after enlightenment?
Chop wood and carry water."

We just laugh more as we work.

I am rather "good" with my spiritual ways, comfortable and happy. I am rather "good" with my feeling nature. I express my feelings and even in sadness know there is joy.
The body has been elsusive. I forget to eat and am slow to realize body things. Pain is usually the way I realize body is needing attention. I do know to remove hand from fire. LOL! That took a while to get all the way to prevention. Now, I do not put hand in fire. LOL. Way easier.
I am looking for an intergrated life style. More than blessing my food. Care of the body from a spiritual point of view. Western ways just do not give me the connect to body.
Thank you for joining me. It is nice to know there are others out there who also celebrate and honor the body in the spirit of love.
Namaste,
Sherry

A wonderful analogy. Your roses are beautiful too. Namaste.

I do not have the beautiful way with words that you do but our souls are very similar.
I learnt many many years ago now that my body needed to be treated with love and respect. 26 years ago I stopped eating meat and only consume fish when my body tells me. My diet consists mainly of organic fruit, vegetables, beans and pulses. I use herbs and spices for their health giving properties and seem to benefit from them. My journey along this root started due to ill health. I am so aware of my body, what it needs and what it tells me.

I am so interested in what you are doing and feel I will learn a lot from you.

Dear Lisa,
Thank you!
The roses are slowly opening. I am thinking about my up coming adventure. All the signs say, "Go! Have fun and learn!"
"Namaste", is a nice way of honoring each other. Perhaps here on "Walking In Beauty" we can say our goodbye that way.
I see the light in you. We are one.
Hands to my heart, I bow...
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Cheryl,
I think your words are very beautiful! Your words come straight from your heart. It cannot get more lovely than that.
I know about feelings and spiritual truths. I am happy to share those knowings.
I too am a vegetarian. No fish, I take an omga 3 cream. No gel tablets for me. The cream is in a little pouch. I put it in spoon.
I do very little animal products. Once in awhile I will eat eggs.
I too am organic.
What are pulses? That sounds interesting. I eat herbs and spices and fruit and veggies. Whole grains and popcorn! I have my teas and my water.
We will learn together.
I think we are kindred spirits.
Namaste,
Sherry

Beautiful roses! You have a great blog!

Hi Sherry
You are very kind.
I have not heard of the omega 3 cream, I do not think we have it here. I will investigate.
Pulses are lentils which are used to make dahl etc. You may call them by another name.
You are making me see things more clearly and my road has a diversion I think I might take it.

Dear Marie,
Thank you. I think of my "blogs" as rooms in my house. Walking In Beauty would be one of the inner rooms. Like a study where we can gather and talk quietly while the birds are busy on the deck.
I am glad you enjoy coming. I look forward to your comments.
Sherry

Dear Cheryl,
I will look up dahl and pulses. I like doing a bit of research. The internet makes it easy at least to get started.
I find my path has taken many twists and turns. Sometimes it is very wide and other times narrow. I like that. As long as I always keep my path wide enough to share with others I am manifesting my source. I am not entertaining ego.
It is a joy getting to know you.
My path is easier, softer and more gentle when I am sharing it with you. Thank you.
Namaste, we are one,
Sherry

Dear Sherry....

My journey for a long time took me to some very dark places, at the time it seemed I would never come out into the light again. When I did I felt as if I had left the old me behind, it was almost like rebirth. Do you understand what I mean? I learnt so much from that time, everything has a reason, and it has brought me to where I am today. Hence the big life change all those years ago.
Thank you for your sincerity.
Namaste

Dear Cheryl,
I do understand. I so know about the dark nights of the soul. I know very well those places. I too know of rebirth.
my e-mail is:

if ever you would like to chat longer than comments allow.
We are where we are because of where we have come from.
We honor those places and those times. I am grateful for the light, the stars and I celebrate not only who I was but who I am.
I am your friend. I feel as if you are mine.

Dear Sherry.....
I am your friend and sometimes words are not needed to know that. Somtimes people are linked by an invisible thread, they know not why, they just are. We have that link by mutual respect and understanding.
I knew that you would know the depths that I have travelled, thru your experiences. I just knew.

I will email next time, I have a busy week but will contact you soon.

Namaste
Cheryl

Dear Cheryl,
Yes, "no words".
Just thought you could put my adddress in your book.
I like the connected by an invisible thread. I do understand that!

Dear Sprite,
I love flowers. I love having them about. I am interested in the symbolism of the rose too. I was reading about the red rose... it is the symbol of the sun, earthly passion, love, the divine manifesting in the physical. It also is known as the Queen of Flowers.
I wear rose absolute...ahhh...
Love and light,
Sherry
