Around the Yard

I walked around the yard
this afternoon.
The 4 inches of snow we received Saturday
are starting to be drawn down by the trees.

Many birds are at the feeders and on the deck.

I am very fond of this pair of Northern Cardinals.
The temperature is to continue to warm up this week.
I have plans for a long walk in the woods when it does.
The birds have begun to sing at first light.
I am looking for the first signs of Spring.

Wonderful sunny photos! Love the crystal clear icicle capture. I, too, am waiting for the long walk around our woods. Spring refreshes my soul.

You must have heard the word "lovely" one time too many. But I would still say it once more. Lovely pictures, Sherry.

Isn't it fun to watch ice melt. Your cardinal looks quite handsome, for sure. He seems quite content.

Dear Spookydragon,
I need to walk...my body is calling for exercise and my soul longs for the woods.
Spring will come and stay soon.
The dragons will return. I will walk daily..
Thank you for coming by...winter walks are just not often enough!
Namaste,
Sherry
