Walking with Monarchs

I looked up and saw the Monarchs.
I followed them into the cemetery.
In through the gate
and down the cemetery road I walked.
I stopped at the Catalpa Tree.
The geese were also walking.
I followed the Monarchs.
Every now and again one would land in front of me.
Waiting for me to catch up.

I kept walking.
I stayed with the Monarchs
until once again they took to the sky.
Bon voyage, pleasant journey.

A walking meditation brings much thought today about goodbyes.

Greetings of Hello are also present, we cannot have one without the other.

I'll keep walking too. Maybe I will take to the sky too, in dreaming.

Much love,

Dear Catherine,
Having the monarchs lead the way was very fun. I ended up walking for an hour! Migration is underway for them. I love watching them drift across the blue skies.
Ahhh..
Autumn is coming.

Dear Sprite,
The comtemplative life is a life full of "goodbyes and hellos". I love that you too are walking and flying.
We fly together.
We dream together.
We share this beautiful journey.
Thank you.

Dear Mary,
Whenever you need a break I will be here! The Monarchs will finish their journey and we will walk in the rain and snow. We will walk in grace.
We walk together.
Thank you for being my friend.
