I walked up to the little wooded area near my house,
Cave Springs.
A pair of Eastern Kingbirds greeted me.
I looked to see his red crown but he kept it concealed.Cave Springs.

She was keeping an eye on me.
The woods were filled with bees!
While I was out walking I saw a neighbor.
We talked for half an hour.
I had not seen her since last November.
We had catching up to do.

We need to rejoice over each bee we see, don't we? The bee population has dwindled in places. I don't remember the correct name for it, but perhaps you do.
Whatever the name, it is very scary...

Dear Mari-Nanci,
I think you are talking about the "hive collapse" troubles the honey bees are having. I do not know if this is in the wild or not. Lots of Bee Keepers have lost their hives. I think it is a virus.
We do want to celebrate the bees and plant as notive as possible for them.
