This morning we took a raccoon, that was in
our live animal trap, to the river.
We have released other raccoons in this wild protected area.
We watched a pair of Red Headed Woodpeckersour live animal trap, to the river.

and a Mockingbird displayed his wings.
We walked near the river.
I was so glad to see a Buckeye butterfly!
Orange Sulphurs nectared on red clover.
It is very hot and humid.

You darned right it was hot and humid today. I love the buckeye photo. Actually all of them are great.

I have not seen a Buckeye in my gardens yet this year. I was glad to see some are out and about!
It is my husband's favorite butterfly.
More hot and humid today...I am already ready for Autumn!
