Bugs!

It was a perfect September day.
The sky as blue as a Bluet.
I walked to the woods.

Lots of bugs flying about.

A male Red Saddlebags was patrolling.
I asked him to please land and let me get a photo.

He graciously complied.

I had never seen a Red Saddlebags before!
My Dragonfly life list is filling in.

Your photos are exquisite! What kind of camera do you use? I am such an amateur, so I am trying to learn as I go. I like to walk and hike a lot, and I don't like to be saddled with a lot of equipment. Maybe that is part of my problem. :>)

Dear Darla,
So nice to meet you. I will come to your journal and hopefully get to know you and your neck of the woods. I am just learning how many different Dragonflies there are in my area. Amazing. I hope next year to do a book of pictures and i.d. and location for my coffee table of the Dragonflies in my area!
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Walk2Write,
Thank you! I do enjoy photography!
I use a Nikon D50. These pictures were taken with a 55-200 zoom lens. I walk, stop, take a few pictures and walk some more! I seldom carry very much when I am out in the wilds!
I also post over on Q's Corner.
Thank you for walking with me.
Namaste,
Sherry
