Sunshine and snow

I bundled up and went walking.
My cold is somewhat better.
I needed the fresh air and the sunshine.

I have a new camera and a new lens.

I put the lens on my old camera to see how it would do.
It is an 18x-200x lens.

Very nice for walking!

The lens is not too heavy and I have lots of range!

You have captured wonderful detail on the Chickadee and berries. Also I love your Cardinal pics on your previous post. Aren't new lenses great!
Thank you for your visit to mine.

I hope you don't mind, but I stopped in from Ann's site. Your photos are lovely! The red of the berries and the cute little chickadee are great! I'd say the camera is a great success.

Lucky gal! Let those pics be fruitful and multiply! I'm glad you are feeling better. I wish I could send you some sunshine and warmth from FL, but we haven't had any for the past couple of days. Next week promises to be a nice one, though.

Dear Me ann my camera,
New lenses are great fun. I always love to learn where the sweet spot is and what sort of bouquet will I have.
This lens is great for walking.

DearWalk2write,
I never mind cold and snow in December. I do weary of it by February. I will need some Florida sunshine and warmth then!

Sherry, as Bob Barker would say: Come on down! You're the next contestant in Stay with W2W and Hubby in FL! The azaleas should be blooming by the end of Feb.

Dear Walk2write,
Thank you for the invitation.
A few years ago my husband and I came to Sanibel in January. It was a wonderful trip. We drove! As quick as possible we wanted to get far enough south we could put the top down. We rode bicycles the entire time we were in Sanibel. I loved being with all the shells and the warmth!Nice birding too.
Florida is delightful!
Drinking grapefruit juice and dreaming!

Dear Dawn,
Welcome to my walking journal!
I love to walk and post about my walk but I have to admit I am somewhat "weather permitting!" It has been too cold and snowy for me to be out walking latley. If it warms up this afternoon maybe I will be able to at least walk around the block. My body needs it!
My main blog, "Q's Corner", is where I post about the comings and goings at my house and in my gardens. Lots of birds and bugs show up there. On Tuesday's I try and post on my Artful Living blog. It is about the crafts I do and Tuesday is craft day!
It is great getting to know you.
