Yo-yo temperatures

I awoke to the sound of thunder and rain.
The temperatures began to drop.
Yesterday the high was 67 degrees.
Today it is 27.

A thin sheet of ice covers my world.

It is cloudy and too cold to go walking.
I took a brief yard tour when I fed the birds.

A Lady Beetle was in the bouquet of flowers
my husband brought home last night.

I miss the bugs!
I miss walking!

We have yo-yo temperatures here too!

Stay warm, or cool, depending on which arc of the yo-yo you're in.

What a cool picture of the lady bug.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the title of your post was Yo Yo Ma, the famous cellist.

I guess I miss the bugs too. I think. ;~)

Dear TC.
Yo-yo Ma is a very wonderful cellist. I have a few cds of his.
My husband took the Lady Bug picture with the macro lens. Turned out cool I thought too.
I do miss the butterflies and the bees...I like bees.
Happy New Year!

I miss the bugs too! We were watching a nature program on TV last night and some butterflies flew by on the screen and I got so excited! My son thought I was being silly but I can't wait to have the butterflies back in our yard again!

Dear Terry,
So sorry it has taken me so long to respond. No excuses, just involved with Holidays and crafting...
I do miss the bugs in the winter. We took a few days off work and went to visit the butterflies that are not too far from my house. I felt as if I had gone to the Caribbean except there was no sand.
The butterflies will return. We are the up side of spring!

Dear Kerri,
Thank you!
I realized this morning I need more exercise than walking with the camera is giving me. I still love to walk and I love taking pictures now I need to figure a way of burning a bit of fat at the same time.
Looking forward to visiting your journal.

Dear Judy,
The water froze in small drops all over the gardens. It was amazing.
I took the macro lens out for a spin. I love doing that...
switching from telephoto to macro...
