Yesterday we received two inches of rain.
We picked some kale for our soup.
November decorations are up.
We walked to vote this afternoon.
The mist was almost refreshing.
I love these illustrations.
Wenonah is beautiful.
Her outfit is amazing and her prairie gorgeous.
But the west-wind, Mudjekeewis, is false and faithless!
Minnehaha also is beautiful.
I love her shoes.
I once again recite this epic song.
The Song of Hiawatha
is best read aloud.
"By the shores of Gitche Gumee,
By the shining Big Sea Water,
Stood the wigwam of Nokomis,
Daughter of the moon, Nokomis."
American Indian things that relate to me.
I have stacks of books to keep me
entertained on cold, wet November days.
I have my moccasins and blanket.
I have my tea.
entertained on cold, wet November days.
I have my moccasins and blanket.
I have my tea.

Great stuff! Keep it coming.
Do you have Native American heritage or just an interest in the culture?
