When the temperatures warmed to 14 degrees
I went walking.
Against the blue sky the trees in the cemetery show each twig.
Only the geese were out in the cold.
I stopped for a few minutes and watched them.
I had come to the cemetery
for a reason.
I wanted to check the cedar berries.

Lovely photographs and I love your thoughts after yoga class.
Love and hugs and smiles
across the miles
Dear Jeanne,
Thank you. I was checking to see if the cedar berries were big enough for the Waxwings.
So many of our berry baring trees did not produce berries this last year. Hopefully 2008 will be easier on the trees and plants.
I am enjoying sharing my active life with you.
We life in a beautiful world.

The photo of the cedar berries is just so lovely.
The cemetery walks are so mindful, and remind me of the cycles of life.
Peace,

Dear Sprite,
I was talking with the owners of Wild Bird Unlimited and they also are concerned for the Cedar Waxwings. Our cedar berries are not developing like usual. They think it will be another year before we recoup from last year's too early spring and April's freeze.
Even tho I am doing my morning exercise class I still plan on walking in hte afternoons. This past week I am coming home from class and packing uo January. Time to clean the hosue and get ready for February's celebrations.
Everyday is a day to celebrate.
I celebrate you!
Thank you for walking with me. When you are resting I still know you are near.
Hugs,
Sherry
