Overnight we received a couple inches of snow.
It was bitterly cold when I went to feed the birds,
12 degrees.
I sat on the deck with a cup of hot tea.
A slight breeze came up.It was bitterly cold when I went to feed the birds,
12 degrees.
I sat on the deck with a cup of hot tea.
The air filled with glittering snow.
I left the deck and began to walk down my street.
I wanted to be in the glitter.
I wanted to be in the lights.
An animal track on my driveway
reminded me of the butterflies.
Everywhere I looked I saw fairy lights.
I forgot to be cold.

Dear Cathy,
Thank you! I was kind of strange today. I accidently went walking and did not take very many pictures. I was in awe the whole time at how beautiful the air was...
Ahhh...Winter.
Sherry
You are really walking in beauty!
Dear Marie,
It is amazing how Mother Nature can take a winter day and turn it into a magical experience. I forgot myself for at least half an hour.

"Walking in glitter"
This brought to mind the glitter of cold snowy day. And now that I love taking photos, my mind goes to ~~ how to photograph it?
Then I scrolled down to read your entry.
And you have captured it. You and your camera, are amazing.
And I love seeing the lovely and amazing photos that people take. They are inspiration to me.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
Getting the camera to see what we see is a challange! As you learn your camera you too will be taking amazing photos!
Keep taking photos. Yesterday I took over a thousand!

What a beautiful post.
Dear Kylee,
Thank you. Mother Nature does have a way of taking me away.

Beautiful! I love all the faerie lights, and globes too.
Perhaps you wondered into the land of the Fae... :)
hehe

Dear Sprite,
I was in the Land of the Fae...
I was captured and entertained and totally forgot who I was.
He-he-he,
I loved every minute of it!
