Once the fog lifted the temperatures
began to rise.
Under partly cloudy skies I went walking.
Mockingbird went with.
He would stop every now and again for a quick song!
I walked up to the little pond.

I walked up to the little pond.
Seeing the turtles basking was thrilling.
Little Pond has more and more wild life coming to her.
Spring is waking up slowly.
I am enjoying every minute.

Dear Cathy,
Seeing the turtles on my little pond was exciting. This pond has been so polluted in the past I never saw any wild life. Now there are ducks and turtles!
There is hope!
Spring is soon!
Turtles say, "spring!"

I love the turtles, they are so beautiful. Is the pond in your garden Sherry?
Dear Cheryl,
This pond is near my house, about two blocks away. I adopted this little pond last Autumn. I go and pick up trash and send lots of gratitude and love to the water.
I too love the turtles!
I do have two garden ponds. They are small and we have fish in the one in front and some plants. The back pond is shallow and is a nice big bird bath!

Very nice photographs. Your writing is really a pleasure to read also.
Fantastic photos of the mockingbird and the turtles :)
Today we found ten dead frogs in our two ponds so we will have to investigate the problem. We have had our ponds for 18 years now and never seen anything like this.
They were blobs of white opaque jelly. Our frogs will breed in the next two weeks. I hope it will be successful this year :)
Dear Sherry, I love the colours in the first photo! There is something restful about it. Seeing turtles is wonderful! Maybe they will travel to your garden? Do they leave the ponds like our frogs and newts?
Dear Lincoln,
Thank you!
I enjoy your photography too.
The digital age has opened the door to capturing the moment and seeing the pictures immediately!
Much easier than darkrooms!
Happy Spring,
Sherry
Dear Wildlife Gardener,
How very sad to find dead frogs in your ponds. It sounds as if some sort of poison somehow got into your ponds. I do hope you find the cause.
This pond was so polluted and no wild life ever was interested in her. Now she is teemimg with life.

Dear Chris,
I was so pleased to see the turtles.
I love turtles!
Sherry
Love the turtles! The pond behind my garden has no rocks, so there are no turtles to see. Makes me want to put in a little pond with rocks for turtles. It's great that you can visit a pond to see them. Come on Spring!
Dear Mr. McGregor's Daughter,
Seeing the turtles was a delight. Just knowing they are up at the little pond thrills me.
My garden ponds are too small for big turtles. I am glad the little pond is getting clean enough for turtles too.
Happy Spring,
Sherry
