Protect

Mocking Bird fluffs his feathers
to protect him from the cold.

Chick-a-dee hides in the bushes for protection.

The little Tufted Titmouse stays in the trees until he sees no danger.
He is protected as long as he stays alert.

The male Northern Cardinal keeps an eye on his mate.
He is always near for her protection.

I am just learning about the Dragons.

The Dragons are protectors.

They love all the creatures I love.

They are the guardians of the Hummingbirds.

I shall protect the Dragons!

Thank you Deb, for our Wednesday Word,
Protect.

Dear Sherry....

Beautiful post.....such lovely photographs.

We all need protection at some point in our lives. It is those that are closest that often protect us.

It has been snowing for 24 hours. I am tired of this weather. I just cannot see an end to this cold spell. Weeks and weeks of hard frosts, snow and cruel winds seem endless. The garden is full of birds this morning......I am making suet balls.

I love the picture of the dragon with the hummingbirds! So different! And the cardinal, of course!

Appropriate word for this time of year. The birds must find protection and food in your garden.

Interesting lore about dragons. I love hummers too.
Stay strong
