I am aware of the passage of the daylight.
I make sure the birds are fed.
I often forget about me.
To care for my needs I need to be aware
of my inner clock.
I need breakfast too.
I need more than a cup of coffee and a gulp of protein drink.
It is fine to fix myself toast and eggs.
I have time to take care of me.

"To care for my needs I need to be aware of my inner clock."
What a wealth of wisdom is contained in that simple sentence.
And I love to contemplate inner clocks and outer clocks. Inner is easier, 'cause it's in us. But the turning of the clock of each 24 hours... And the turning of the clock/wheel of the Seasons... Do we stop and notice? Enough?

Dea Mari-Nanci,
I find I am much more aware of the turning of the wheel than of my inner clock. I forget so quickly about my needs. I have cared for others for a very long time and now it is my time to care for me. I get distracted by something outside of me.
I get excited about a bird or plant or butterfly. I am hoping to get excited about my body.
Thank you so much for walking with me.
I can learn so much from you.

I love that you are taking care of yourself and your needs.

Dear Sprite,
I seem to go in spits and spurts!
Some days I eat three meals and somedays I forget all about food. If for some reason my husband works late or is not home for supper I will forgo dinner. I forget.
I am trying to do one good for me thing everyday, besides my water. I always drink my water! I always get my sunshine too, it is the plant part of me I am very good at!
Now I am learning to be a healthly human!
Bodies need food!!!
I do get my Dove Miniature in at 2pm. Maybe I can learn from the Hummingbird and do the little meals off and all day.
Fruit piece and nuts just laid out in the mornings so I see them and remember to eat.
