Everyday activities

Being mindful in our every day activities
brings joy.

I am aware and grateful.

There are many pairs of Northern Cardinals in the backyard.

Their activity brings grace into the gardens.
They are in the moment.

Doing the laundry, washing the dishes, making the bed and fixing our meals are the everyday activities that help me connect to the phenomena of life.
Each act can be a sacred act. It is my mindfulness that brings the joy.
I smile.

Dear Sherry....most definately. Apart from man all creatures live in the moment. They do not look back or see ahead. We have so much to learn.......

The cardinals are just so beautiful....I know that I have said it many times but they do remind me of tropical birds....the colours so rich and warm....

Blue Boy has failed to appear....the end of an era. I am honoured he came here....

Love this post......

It is funny that you mention this. I used to hate to clean house. Fussed every time I had to move an object to clean. Then I stopped to think about how blessed I am. I started to say a prayer of thanks and all was so much easier to do. So blessed we are.

Dear Bonnie,
I smile back! I bow and see the beauty and know you as a flower...fresh and refreshed.

Dear Cheryl,
The birds do remember who I am and where the seed is! Yes, they are the best of teachers. The bugs are good at teaching too. The way the bees and ants work is so amazing.
So sorry Blue Boy has not been seen. It was an honor he spent time with you. Life is sacred.
I am in my gathering information time. These are spirit days for me.
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Lisa,
Changing our attitude changes everything. The attitude of gratitude is the attitude of joy.
