May I never be...

too busy, in my pursuit of the sweet nectar of life, to honor you.
May I always find the words that give comfort and support.
May I always listen with an open heart.

May I never be so self absorbed, in my journey, that I fail to honor you.
May I know your journey is as important as mine.
May I always be interested.

May I never be too busy to see you are tired and need rest.
For the sun can be intense and everyone needs shade.
May I be here to offer a drink of water.

Dear Catherine,
Thank you. I locked myself out of my house this morning. No hide-a-key! I asked a neighbor to call my husband at work for me. When I talked with my husband he said he would come right home. I know he is very, very, busy right now at work. We are leaving for 20 days and he has more on his plate than he can finish. For him to stop and come home was such a gift. He honored me. I was so grateful. He did not guilt me or in any way shame me. He was gracious.
I vowed I would never, EVER be to busy to help someone. To honor them.
Glad you enjoyed this essay.

Dear Sherry,

Ohhhhh. What a precious post, and the photos are so so beautiful.

I'm so sorry to hear you locked yourself out. What a gift to have such a precious husband! I hope it wasn't too hot while you were outside waiting dearheart.

This is a kind and thoughtful reminder to always be right there, if we can - for other sentient life.

Your "Walk In Beauty" signifies such an open heart, full of love and compassion.

May I always remember too. Thank you for this beautiful prayer.

Love you beyond,

Dear Sprite,
My husband stopped what he was doing and came straight away so I would not be out in the heat too long. His graciousness was so incredible to me that I vowed I would always stop too.
thank you. I must always remember I have all the time I need to take care of business, only some time to take care of loved ones.
Thank you for taking the time to be with me,
Nameste,
Sherry

Dear Laurie,
Thanks!
I needed to reread this post! I might want to reread a few times as I get back into my normal routine. I can easily become too busy! Too involved to take the time to be available.
Thanks for reminding me by posting a comment.

Thank you. Sphnix moth is incredible!
I must get back to my morning walk!
I am still walking at night with my husband but it is too dark for photos!
I shall pop over to your journal! So nice to meet new friends.

Dear Mary,
It was so kind of my husband to stop what he was doing and come open the door for me.
I never want to forget his act of kindness.
