Dear Blondie, Thank you! This was a quick walk as I was too cold! The wind makes me feel so very cold. It is calm today and warmer. I just might go walking in the woods. Sherry
Dear Cathy, I really liked these pinecones. I will watch for when some fall and gather a few for my pinecone baskets. My pine trees have gifted us with so many cones and often I have gathered huge bags to share with family and friends. Now I am interested in all the different types I come across as I walk in the woods or in the cemetery. Thank you for walking with me. We will gather together! Sherry
Dear Chris, I have decorated family graves for the Holidays many times. It is what we do. There are no guarantees in life. We do the best we can each day. We remember to be kind to family and friends and to ourselves. My father used to say, "We were born to die." A little too pessimistic for me! I think I was born to love so that is what I go about doing! Counting our blessings makes for a life filled with gratitude. I count you as a blessing in my life. Sherry
Dear Sprite, The older I get the more loved ones I "know" in spirit. I always think of them, every day. The weather has been so changeable of late. Hot then cold! The north wind is so cold this morning, as I write, that I am not wanting to get out in it! Part of my December decorating is cocoa pots! I love them. When I want the perfect cup I steam my soy milk and melt my chocolate... Yummmy stuff. I do hold the whip cream..watching those extra unneeded calories. I do lavender and rosemary just for Love and Remembrances...I cannot imagine Christmas with out them, part of the olde ways. I am so happy you remember these things. I am so happy we share this daily walk. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for your unending kindness. Hugs and cocoa, Sherry

Oh Sherry, I found this a very sad post! We should all count our blessings and remember that Christmas is not so much fun for everyone.

Dearest Sherry,
At Christmastime, it is wonderful to remember our loved ones who are in 'Spirit.'
This walk reminds me of Love, long ago. It reminds me of Love and Remembrances, now and forever.
I felt the wind today in during this walk, and it was a nipping wind. Cocoa is the perfect ending for a gentle spirit's walk.
Love you,
*sprite
