My son and I waked up to Cave Springs.
He has fond memories of the woods.
He used to skip rocks at the little pond.

following the trails the animals had made.
Almost all the snow is melted now.
We watched as Robins flipped leaves
in search of worms.
My son found interesting leaves still green on the vine.
Another winter storm is headed our way for the weekend.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
I think he enjoyed the walk as much as I did. I am slow and deliberate, he is quick and sees everything at once. When he scurried ahead I watched him just like when he was a little boy. He returned to where I was. He lead me down new paths I had never taken. I stopped and watched him watch me. We laughed.
It was a grand walk.
I hope we get out of town before it hits! I am flying south to connect so I can avoid any storms in the mid-west. I figured if we went far enough south we could than go north and fly over the storms! Traveling in December is always a risk.
