I filled all the feeders
in the gardens this morning.
I wrapped up in three blanketsin the gardens this morning.
and sat with them for a little while.
The wind has died down. It is cold.
I am waiting for the snow to start.
I want to walk in the snow.

Good Morning Dearest One,
Ooo yes a beautiful snow to whiten our landscape will be lovely.
I am so happy you care for the birds and the 'little ones' of the land. Generosity warms the Spirit.
I'm glad to sit with you, and walk in the 'Spirit' of friendship.
Lovingly,
*sprite
Oh, Sherry, stay warm! Three blankets! I am shivering at the thought but your photos are beautiful.
Dearest Sprite,
Walking in spirit is wonderful with dear friends like you.
I also set out a few more seed trays on the front porch. So many birds came for seed while it snowed that I needed to ease the congestion on the deck and in the backyard.
I will get back to our regular walks one of these days. Until that time we will share our inner walk. I know you in grace and in spirit.
I had thought I would walk in the snow but the birds kept me busy at home.
Thank you always for your kind support.
Hugs and cocoas,
Sherry
Dear Chris,
I was so wrapped up it was hard to take photos! I had a blanket under me and one around my legs and another around my shoulders over my coat! It was too quick of a temperature change for me.
Thanks for the photo compliment. I do like to be outside with the birds.

Wow! I can't imagine having 40 places for seed, but I can see that it would be worth it. Great bird pictures. I like the one of the male cardinal best.
Dear Robin,
I have seed and nuts in all sorts of spots around the yard. In the winter so many birds come that I could have trouble if I did not spread the seed around.
On Q's Corner I post my day to day in the yard. I just happened to sit on the deck today rather than walk.
Hope you pop over to Corner to see the Friday Slide Shows and the birds.
I too love the Cardinals. They are so pretty.

You were waiting for a storm, and I missed the post.
And now, I am waiting for one.
And now, you have frozen 'stuff.'
But it's all part of Winter. And I would "perish" without the 4 Seasons. :-)

Dear Mari-Nanci,
I try to post on Walking In Beauty most days.
Waiting for a storm to hit is rather exciting. Hope you do not get ice! I do not like ice at all!
I too would "perish" without the changing seasons. At least my spirit would be denied the joy of them. I do grow weary of the cold and the heat. I seem to be a spring/autumn sort of girl. As long as I can warm up or cool down than winter and summer are grand.
Stay warm and safe.
Sherry
