Peak

The leaves have their October colors.

We walked under the canopy in the late afternoon.

It is peak color this weekend in my city.

It is perfect October weather,

sunny and 64 degrees.

Absolutely beautiful Sherry! We're past peak here, but your photos reminded me of how it was here a week ago.

I also posted about autumn color here: http://www.examiner.com/x-819-Pittsburgh-Gardening-Examiner

Isn't it interesting how the colors are always there? We just need a change of seasons to recognize them in all their glory. The first time I learned that botanical lesson, it made me think getting older is not so bad after all.

ooh... the one thing I truly miss is the turning of the leaves. I'm so jealous!

Dear TC,
Autumn is so colorful!
I was out doing a photo shoot and kept turning the camera to the trees and the sky.
Once a nature photographer always a nature photgrapher!
Thanks for the link.
I shall pop over and see your work.

Dear Walk2write,
It is interesting how the green of the chlorophyll covers the other colors.
Getting older is just fine as long as I can still do all the things I want to do!
I even would not mind hiring out some of the chores..
I like getting older. Life is easier.

Dear Mimi,
I will take pictures of the leaves and you take pictures of the ocean and the beach...we can share that way.
Hugs,
