Southern breezes

A strong southern breeze
carried me into the woods.
I walked while the leaves danced overhead.

A flock of Dark-eyed Juncos
kept me company.

Seeing Mallard Ducks on the pond was a delight.

I sat for awhile at the pond.
I felt the breeze on my arms and
the sun on my face.
It is 72 degrees outside,
unseasonably warm.

I am enjoying my walks each day.

I am enjoying who I am.
I am enjoying where I am.

Dear Sherry,

The reflective nature of the pond is so beautiful. It is easy to meditate here, on this lovely day.

Love,

Dear Sprite,
Hot-cold-hot-cold....
Just like my inner self. Soon the temperatures will regulate and I too will find my state of comfort. The pond is now my friend. I hope to spend lots of time caring for her.
We will see more of pond as my work takes me to her banks.
Love,
Sherry
