Butterflies in January

Another Black Swallowtail emerged yesterday.

We now have four living in the living room.
They seem to like the windows.

They are finding food.
The indoor gardens are
doing nicely.
I am enjoying the flowers and the butterflies.

I am reading about dragons.

I am planning my dragon.

I am honoring the Dragon hours, 7am-9am.
My morning writing time.
My morning Dragon Dream time.

I have my apron on.
It is baking day.
Our bread is resting before it goes into the oven.

With freshly baked bread, beautiful flowers, happy butterflies, and Dragon dream time January could easily
become my new favorite month.

I am in love with Dragons.

Dear Sherry,

Your butterflies are beautiful.
Do they use the flowers in your sitting room?
I expect they go to the windows for light.

Laura @ Patio Patch is born under the sign of the water dragon. She did a post recently on the subject, you might find it interesting reading.
I now have two water dragon friends :}

Have fun dancing with the butterflies.......

Dragon hour is 7-9A.M. It's interesting. We will bite into Makizushi(sushi roll) on Setubun-day(the day before the beginning of spring),looking to southeast(this is 7-9A.M.of the this year's direction). This is our new custom.

Sherry, the capture with the whole globe of the geranium flower is simply breathtaking! I think it is the light, but I love it!!

How exciting! I am so happy for you that butterflies are in your home. That makes winter worth while.
