Around the block

The brisk, north wind
kept me close to home.

Lawns are filling with leaves.

With each gust of wind leaves fill the air.
They twirl in the street and around my legs.

Soon all the leaves will be off the trees.

Cold air is blowing in.

Indian Summer is coming to a close.

Dear Friend,

The wind is chilly, and the leaves are beautiful.

The foliage of Michigan is so beautiful, the 'Tall Ones' raising their branches to the sky, gives me such joy.

Still, there are leaves on the trees. Beautiful.

A timely walk.

Much love,

Dearest Sprite,
I thought of you as I walked. I knew you were up north and I hoped the air was warmer than mine was!
The north wind was cold. My face was cold when I returned home.
Michigan is so beautiful! Glad the "Tall Ones" were still dressed in their autumn colors.
IT is a beautiful world we live in. Even more beautiful when shared with you.
Thank you for saying, "Hello" to the ancient ones in the north.
Love,
Sherry
