Libra

We welcome Libra today.

I celebrate the archetype,
 Mother Nature, in the sign
of Libra.
                                   I celebrate balance.

When the winds of change blow, if I am in balance,
I will be like a wind sculpture, I will dance.

Mama Mita has taught me

one person can make a difference.

We planted a tree with our friends.
It is a gift from them.
Two kindred spirits.
They have made a difference in our lives.

Our tree will be cared for.

Our tree will remind us of our friends.

Autumn has arrived.

The seasons have changed.

We celebrate harvest.

We look for signs.

We follow ancient traditions.

The Full Harvest Moon
rose last night.

The sun was setting in the west as she rose in the east,
360 degrees of amazement and awe.
I love the phases of the Moon.

The Hummingbirds will leave any day.

Some butterflies will
over winter as larva.

Swarms of midges

provide food for the
late season Dragonflies.

The wind has shifted to the north.
It is time for Libra.

Dear Sherry, such a beautiful post, in my minds eye I am in your garden. I see it and you clearly now. Our friendship will last a lifetime, of that I am sure.

It is cold here. The leaves are slowly turning. I smell autumn.
The birds have left the garden. I shall put the feeders out, they will return.

I am tired......weary....but very very happy.

Chock full of folk lore and interesting facts too. I enjoyed reading about Mother Tree. How wonderful that one woman could accomplish so much!

I did not realize that we are now in Libra. Both of my brothers are born in Libra (one still here, one passed beyond). Time just creeps up on me.

Your hummer looks so graceful, I don't know how you take such good pics. They are so elusive!

Happy Autumn

your post is a wonderful tribute to this lovely season. The changes are beautiful up here north of Whitefish, leaves dancing, colors change as we watch, delicious air.

I think trees are like old friends, especially those you can climb.

I have seen these swarms out my patio doors and have wondered how to get a photo of them. This is fantastic.
