The Yellow-Sided Skimmer has found a mate.
A Blue Dasher perched on a leaf.
A Pond Hawk perched on his log.
We did not see any Green Darners today.
But we did see lots of Common White Tails, males and females.
They are very friendly dragonflies.
We saw a few butterflies.
The Angel Wing Question Marks
are lovely butterflies.
Hackberry Emperors are common in our woods.
We watched a Yellow-billed Cuckoo.
Blue-gray Gnat Catcher.
Maybe next week.

What beautiful photos, Sherry. I'm amazed at what you capture. I'm sure you'll snap that Gnat Catcher another time.
Hugs
Wonderful photos, those twelve spotted skimmers are a treat
These photos are so adorable, SherryQ! I am in love with all of the Dragonflies (and your 'bonnet') :D
I love 'walking' with you.
A wonderful collection of dragonflies and butterflies. I love watching each one flitting around and love it when I can catch them on camera. You must have felt very satisfied.
Hello,nice blog. Pls look-up http://true-shapherd.blogspot.in/
Zdjęcia ważek śliczne, ale zauroczył mnie motyl, o skrzydełkach z zewnątrz przypominających brązowego liścia. Pozdrawiam.
Photos of dragonflies, beautiful, but I fell in love with a butterfly, with wings from the outside resembling a brown leaf. Yours.
It's amazing that you got a picture of a Yellow-billed Cuckoo! Such secretive birds. Your butterfly pictures are lovely, too.
Soooo amazing, wonderful, I like it and enjoy it!
