Sunshine

The sun was warm and no wind.
The temperasture was still below freezing.
I went walking.

No leaf buds yet.
Spring feels so near.

Robins were on the walking trail.

The ice has left the pond.

The robins are claiming their territories.
It felt good to walk in the sunshine.

I'm so glad you have sunshine and robins. Here, we're awaiting another Ice Storm. -sigh-

Yes, I am getting weary of ice and snow. But especially, of ice.

But, being weary doesn't accomplish much. :-) The Wheel of the Year will turn, in its own time. In its own time...

Spotting the Robins - one of the sweetest signs that Spring is near. I hope they nest in our garden again this year - it was such a treat to check on the nest each day.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
I understand winter weary. We cannot change what Mother Nature gives us but we can find a way to see the beauty. Spring will come to you. Hang on! In another month the snows will melt, wildflowers will bloom and once again you will also be able to go walking.

Dear Deb,
I hope the Robins nest in your gardens too this year. I was so pleased I was able to get out and walk. My body feels so stiff and sore. I am looking forward to my daily walk.
