Comfortable

I have sold both of my 1940's white wrought iron table and chairs sets.
My entertaining in the gardens is over now.

I am making room for what I want.

I am replacing with comfortable outdoor furniture.
A love seat glider with a cushion that I can leave outside would be nice.

I am working on comfortable.
An easier, softer way.

I am making plans for the gardens.
They too will be comfortable.
An easier, softer garden.

I want to sit in the shade and watch the flowers grow in the sun.
My word is comfort.

Dear One,

Comfort is such a lovely word. When my daughter went away to college, I made her a box of comfort. I had started just after she graduated; collecting items of comfort for her. I put a plug in tea kettle, and many of her favorite teas, a beautiful mug and cup that she loved, cards that she could open for a few days, soft down pillows, a soft thermal blanket, a journal, as well as a homeopathic care pack for comfort from stress. One other thing I did was to take one place setting of our silver ware, and I wrote a word on them with my dremel. I wrote the word "comfort."

These are just a few of the things that I put in that box of comfort. It turned out to be a box and a large bag and more. She loved it!

I love comfort! When I think of it now, I think of my down comforter, and pillows. I think of aromatherapy oils that my beloved friend makes for me. I also think of all the wonderful sharing and times I’ve had with friends like you!

Comfort is so lovely.

Thank you darling one,

Sprite

Dear Sprite,
Fixing a comfort package for your daughter was so very thoughtful of you! Having a bit of "Mom" about makes being away easier.
I am finding all the ways to bring comfort into my life.
It is nice to find my comfort after so many years.

Hi Lauri & Chris,
Thanks! I liked the pattern of the seeds in the sunflower. A "Flower of Life" in nature.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
At one time in my life I was an antique dealer. My house is full of old furniture. It is pretty but not very comfortable. My husband says I specailized in uncomfortable furniture.
I did finally buy a couch I like. It took me many years to find the right one (had it made!)
My husband gave me a big comfy leather desk chair so my time at my desk is comfortable.
Outdoors I have on the deck steamer chairs with cushions.
I recently found bamboo fiber bed sheets and bamboo fiber towels! They are soft and so pretty.
I have a criteria for items now, organic, 100% natural, pretty, easy care and comfortable!
Thanks so much for your support.
I am loving being comfortable.
The air conditioning is on.....

Dear Chris,
"Comfort and comfortable" may be my guiding words for awhile. I have been so used to "uncomfortable" that it is taking me a bit to find out just what is comfortable to me!
Thank you for encouraging me! Changeing can be "uncomfortable"!
